This unfaced stone wool insulation material is used to provide highperformance insulation between floors and under floor slabs. When applied between floors, it reduces heat transfer between upper and lower levels, helping maintain thermal balance within the building and improving energy efficiency.
When installed under floor slabs, the product offers strong resistance to vibration and impact caused by foot traffic and mechanical loads. Its high density ensures the flooring system remains long-lasting and stable. It is also highly effective in sound insulation, minimizing sound transmission between floors and providing acoustic comfort in living spaces. In multi-story structures such as apartment buildings, office towers, and hotels, it prevents noise from being transmitted between upper and lower floors.
In addition, with its A1 non-combustible classification, it provides fire safety. When used between floors, it does not ignite or emit smoke during a fire, preventing fire spread between floors and allowing safe evacuation. Stone Wool Platin 110 kg/m³ is an ideal insulation solution for creating a long-lasting, safe, and comfortable structure beneath floors and between levels.
