Long-Lasting Foundation Insulation for the İBB Anatolian Side Life Center Project
Bonus Insulation products were selected for the foundation waterproofing applications of the İBB Anatolian Side Life Center and Social Facilities Project, one of the major developments that will contribute to Istanbul’s social life. Implemented in cooperation with our dealer BDS Insulation, the project utilizes 23,500 m² of Bonus Proof Membrane to provide long-lasting protection against water, moisture and ground-related external factors.In life centers and social facilities with high public use, comfort and sustainable performance are just as important as structural safety. Insulation solutions must therefore address not only today’s requirements but also the environmental conditions a building will face throughout its service life. The foundation is particularly critical, as it is the part of the structure most exposed to soil and water. Proper foundation waterproofing with the right product and detailing helps protect the structural system, extend the building’s service life and support safe indoor conditions.
Bonus Proof Membrane, selected for the project, is an SBS-modified waterproofing membrane developed to deliver high performance in foundation waterproofing and single-sided retaining wall applications. Its full adhesion to fresh concrete creates strong integrity with the foundation surface and helps prevent water from migrating along structural elements. This provides reliable protection not only against water penetration but also against localized water movement between the foundation concrete and the waterproofing layer.
