Insulation Secured with Bonus at the Ankara Criter Residence Project
The exterior façade insulation of the Criter Residence Project, rising in Çayyolu Konutkent and located adjacent to Eskişehir Road — one of Ankara’s busiest arterial routes — was completed under the assurance of Bonus Yalıtım. Within the scope of the project, high-performance Bonus Stone Wool Gold and Bonus Stone Wool Premium F products, which provide thermal insulation, acoustic comfort, and fire safety in a single solution, were preferred. A total of 11,000 square meters of stone wool was used in the project, implemented through the contribution of our authorized dealer İpektaş Yalıtım and the expert applications carried out by Çırak Yalıtım and Çizgi Grup Façade Systems.
The use of stone wool in exterior façades plays a critical role in buildings in terms of both energy efficiency and long-term safety. With its low thermal conductivity coefficient, it minimizes heat loss during winter, providing energy savings, while offering a cool and comfortable indoor environment during summer. In addition, its vapor permeability allows the building to breathe, preventing moisture accumulation and mold formation. In terms of acoustic insulation, its fibrous and porous structure absorbs external noise, creating quiet and comfortable living spaces indoors. Regarding fire safety, its A1-class non-combustible structure does not ignite, delays the spread of fire, and does not produce smoke — a feature of vital importance particularly in high-rise residential and commercial projects.
Bonus Stone Wool Gold, used in the project, offers high fire safety performance and can be easily applied in all types of curtain wall façade systems thanks to its various density options. Bonus Stone Wool Premium F, on the other hand, has been specifically developed for exterior thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), standing out with its high mechanical strength, vapor permeability, and superior thermal insulation performance.
