Enhanced Product Protection and Streamlined Processes with New Packaging Investment

As the one-stop solution for insulation needs, Bonus Insulation introduces a sustainable dimension to the added value it provides to the ecosystem through its Stretch-Hood packaging investment for Bonus Stone Wool, which offers up to 60% energy savings in thermal insulation. The Stretch-Hood packaging protects products from environmental factors while making it easier to stack large-sized insulation materials. This packaging technique shields products from sunlight, rain, moisture, and dust while saving energy and accelerating operational processes for businesses.

The increasingly competitive global market and the advancement of quality standards make steps toward sustainability critical. Companies that integrate product and technology investments with a holistic approach, focusing on achieving excellent quality, can craft sustainable success stories. Projects and investments shaped by concepts of transformation, efficiency, and savings illuminate the path to sustainable success and spread the culture of excellent quality.

As the only 100% locally-owned Turkish brand in its sector, Bonus Insulation, part of Eryap Group, has initiated a pioneering move with its Stretch-Hood packaging investment at its Hendek Sakarya facility. By implementing this investment for the Bonus Stone Wool product, which prevents more than half of heating and cooling costs from being wasted, Bonus Insulation has ensured stronger protection during palletization, extending the product's lifespan in both distributor warehouses and construction sites. As part of this investment, the company has also modernized all cutting machines with the latest technology, transitioning to completely dust-free production, reducing waste to zero, and providing a comfortable and healthy working environment for employees.

Extending the Life Cycle of Thermal Insulation into Different Areas
Bonus Insulation’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Tolga Ceylan, emphasized that their investments are made with a broad perspective that considers not only the present but also the past and future. "By extending the long life cycle of thermal insulation into different areas, we fulfill our responsibility as a brand that leads the industry. We don’t see planning for the future merely as a business goal but as a way to continuously increase the value we provide to the ecosystem with our projects and investments. The Stretch-Hood packaging investment at our Hendek Sakarya facility, which operates on a 62,000 m² area as the most modern facility in the sector, is a testament to the added value we provide to the ecosystem. With this investment, we’ve expanded our facility to 72,000 m² by adding 10,000 m². Additionally, we created an extra 5,000 m² of space to meet storage needs and took an important step towards speeding up production by increasing our stocking capacity by 30%."

"Our New Investment is Part of Our Perfect Quality Approach"
Tolga Ceylan highlighted that Bonus Insulation is the solution center for all insulation needs with its high-quality products developed in the four vital areas of insulation: thermal, water, sound, and fire. "Our new packaging investment reflects our company’s perfect quality approach. Stretch-Hood packaging protects our products, which require high precision during packaging, from external factors, offering stability and long-term stacking. As a result, the risk of deformation for our products is eliminated. By storing our products with UV-protected Stretch-Hood packaging for 12 months, we ensure secure storage and distribution processes in the supply chain. This allows us to introduce our customers to the high efficiency and savings provided by thermal insulation without compromising on our perfect quality approach."

Ceylan continued: "Today’s changing customer expectations, the development of quality standards, and the importance of investments that add value to the ecosystem have increased significantly. Investments that reduce the operational burden while enhancing product protection, in line with our focus on perfect quality, present a roadmap for sustainable production. Raising quality standards while focusing on environmental factors is the most important part of our investments."

Protecting Products Against Environmental Factors
Stretch-Hood packaging prevents damage from environmental factors and problems that may arise during the stacking of products. This packaging technique, which uses fully automatic next-generation machines without heat treatment, protects products from sunlight, rain, moisture, and dust, while saving energy and speeding up operations.
