Bonus Yalıtım Secures Waterproofing for Tersane İstanbul

In 2025, within the scope of the project implemented by 4GEN Yapı, Bonus Yalıtım’s innovative membrane systems were selected for a total application area of 17,100 m². Located in one of Istanbul’s most prestigious areas along the Golden Horn, the Tersane İstanbul Project draws attention not only with its technical infrastructure but also with its architectural aesthetics. To meet the project’s foundation waterproofing requirements, our Bonus Membran Premium and Ultrabond series products — offering high performance and long service life — were preferred.

The membrane systems used provide long-term durability against all climatic conditions thanks to their elastomeric bitumen-based structures. The Ultrabond series maintains flexibility down to −20°C, reducing the risk of cracking while ensuring strong adhesion to the substrate and allowing application without the need for a primer. The Premium series, on the other hand, supports structural safety with its impact resistance and flexible structure that accommodates surface movements.
