Bonus Insulation at the 18th GYODER Real Estate Summit
Founded in 1999 by representatives of real estate investment trusts in Turkey, GYODER is "Turkey's Real Estate Platform," working with the mission of contributing to the development of the real estate sector and creating value for all sector stakeholders. This year, GYODER once again brought together professionals from the sector. As Bonus Insulation, we proudly participated in the 18th GYODER Real Estate Summit, held under the theme "Complete Your City with Conscience," presenting our essential products to the attendees.The summit, which featured sessions such as "Designing Lives Focused on Human Experience," "The Dilemma of Financing in Real Estate," "Notes from the Urban Thinker," "Complete Your City with Conscience," "Access to Housing," "Urban Transformation's New Dynamo: Alliances," and "New Approaches in the World of Real Estate," gathered many esteemed guests from Turkey and abroad. Earthquake-related topics took center stage during the event.
The discussions emphasized the need to build safe housing to address the security concerns underpinning our fundamental need for shelter. However, due to factors like inadequate implementation and lack of supervision, buildings can pose significant threats. Given that 66% of Turkey’s land is in a first-degree earthquake risk zone, the sessions highlighted the importance of planning and constructing our buildings and cities to mitigate this risk, and stressed that regulations and inspections must be strictly enforced.
Waterproofing, which is essential for building safety, became a legal requirement as of June 1, 2018. Regardless of how well-constructed the reinforcement and planning may be, without proper waterproofing—or in cases where it is incorrectly or insufficiently applied—the reinforcement can be damaged, leading to the building’s functionality deteriorating over time. We introduced our innovative product, Bonus Proof, to industry representatives at the summit. Bonus Proof is a high-performance, next-generation waterproofing solution for foundation and deep foundation applications that adheres fully with elastomeric (SBS) additives through concrete pressure and hydration, eliminating the need for protection concrete.
With its special sanded surface that ensures full adhesion to concrete, Bonus Proof offers permanent and strong adhesion while being easy to apply. Since it doesn’t require protection concrete, it also provides significant savings in both cost and labor.
